A common oversight in the brewing of a French Press coffee is leaving the brewed coffee with the grounds.
What does that matter? When the coffee grounds are left in with the brewed coffee the extraction process will continue. This means, if brewing 2 or more cups your subsequent cups will end up bitter, and over extracted.
Ideally the remaining coffee should be transferred to a thermos or carafe. This will preserve your delicious coffee! Lets make coffee pleasurable, and not a bitter tool that’s merely a survival item for corporate life.
Great tip!! We will use our French press more now 😀
Interesting!
