Ethiopia – Kochere Teklu Dembel

If you have never had craft coffee before, this bean that will break down your coffee walls.

Kochere has bright fruity notes with a deep chocolate finish. These beans shine through in a variety of different roast profiles, but we’ve found the best results in a light city to city roast. During the first week of development this bean goes through a variety of awkward phases with its various key flavors taking stage one at a time. An almost comical sweetness one day; a vibrant and exciting sourness the next day.

After about 7-10 days it begins settling in to pure beauty, this stage announces itself with a deep chocolate smell and a fruity and sweet first sip. Drawing out into a tart but not overpowering finish.
